Requirements
Self
Help Housing helps you from the application phase through completion
of your new home.
To
be eligible—
- You
must build your new home in Junction City.
- You
must have an income of low or very low according the HUD guidelines.

- You
must have sufficient income to afford the costs of owning a home.
- Individuals
with annual incomes as low as $13,500.
- You
must have an acceptable credit history.
The first step to owning your home through the Self Help Housing
program is the pre-application. There is no cost or obligation to
learn if you are eligible. If you meet the basic criteria, the Self
Help staff will assist you in completing the formal application.
