12th Street Community Center

12th Street Community Center, opened in September 1998, is located at 1002 W. 12th Street inside Cleary Park. The facility houses two full-sized basketball courts—Jayhawk Court and Power Cat Court. We call it “A Court Divided” representing both the University of Kansas and Kansas State University. The facility has a total of twelve basketball goals, a twenty-one station Computer Lab, a Multipurpose Room with a 52” big screen TV, pool tables, air hockey, table tennis, vending machines and video games. A full kitchen is also available. Each of the rooms can be reserved and rented for private parties and gathering all by calling Junction City Recreation at 238-7529.
