The Junction City Recreation Department offers activities for all ages and interests. We have state of the art facilities. We have a knowledgable staff waiting to help you get involved.

There is a lot to do in the Junction City area. Enjoy a round of golf, go boating or fishing, hike one of our trails or enjoy a picnic in one of our parks. If you like baseball, you'll enjoy the Junction City Generals, our semi-pro team. And don't forget Sundown Salute, the state's largest free Independence Day celebration.

Coed Softball League

Wrestling Clinic

Our certified lifeguards instruct the programs, teach the students swimming skill and help them have fun while learning. Instructors will conduct skills tests to verify that your child will be placed in the proper class.

Parent-Toddler Swim Lessons

This course is just for the toddler and their parents. Get your little one familiar with the water and work on very basic skills. Parent/Adult accompaniment in the water is required. This class is very popular and fills up fast. Swim Diapers are required to be worn during classes. Limit 15 people per class.
