The Public Works Department is responsible for the airport, Freeman Field, but it is managed by Kansas Air Center and can be contacted 7 days a week, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, at (785) 238-1991. The services provided are maintenance on airplanes and refueling. They also have a covered tie down and provide a courtesy car for pilots. For after hours fueling contact 1 (888) 462-1991. Freeman Field consists of three runways: 1. Asphalt Runway -3500` X 75` with a heading of 18-36. 2. Grass Runway - 1927` X 200` with a heading of 5-23. 3. Grass Runway - 1915` X 140` with a heading of 13-31. |
