The funeral for Officer Wilson "Alex" Johnson, Jr., was held on December 7, 2001. In May 2002, the Junction City Police Department sent a delegation to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C., to attend the annual candlelight vigil in which Officer Johnson's name was added along with 229 others who had died in the line of duty. The following are pictures from both ceremonies.
