Mission Statement

The mission of the Junction City Fire Department is to enhance the quality of life and environment by providing effective and efficient services designed to protect the public from the adverse effects of uncontrolled fires, medical emergencies, or exposure to dangerous conditions.
We will meet this commitment by striving to set the standards for professional fire, rescue and emergency medical services, and by active participation in the lives of our citizens and their communities through education, planning and prevention. We are also committed to providing full accountability to our community and to continuous improvement in our delivery systems.
