Rescue 1 is a 1997 Freightliner FL70 4-door Chassis with a 300 h.p. ISC C8.3 Cummins Turbo Diesel. It has an automatic transmission, in place of a pump it has been equipped with a 30 gallon CAF (Compressed Air Foam) system with 100 feet of 1 inch pre-connected hose. Rescue 1 is located at Station 2 and responds to all structure fires, all motor vehicle injury accidents, all rescues city and county and is first response to all medical calls on the west side of U.S. 77 highway.
