Ladder 1

Ladder 1 is a 1989 Pierce Dash chassis with a 350 h.p. 92V Detroit Diesel. It has an automatic transmission with a 1500 g.p.m. Waterous 2 stage pump. It carries 300 gallons of water, 700 feet of 5 inch hose, 500 feet of 2.5 inch hose and two 1.75 inch pre connects. The aerial is 75 foot capable of 1000 g.p.m. Ladder 1 is located at Station 1 and responds to multistory structures as requested by the shift officer. Ladder 1 responded to 38 calls in 2006

Engine 10

Engine 10 is 1995 Freightliner FL70 4-door Chassis with a 300 h.p. C8.3 Cummins Turbo Diesel. It has an automatic transmission with a 1500 g.p.m. 2 stage pump. It carries 750 gallons of water 1000 feet of 5 inch hose, 500 feet of 2.5 inch hose and has three 1.75 inch pre-connects. Engine 10 is located at Station 1 and responds to all structure fires. Engine 10 responded to 170 calls in 2006.

 

Engine 20

Engine 20 is a 2005 Pierce Arrow XT with a 425 h.p. 778 cubic inch (12.7L) Caterpillar Diesel. It has an Allison, model EVS 4000P automatic transmission with a 1500 gpm rear mounted pump. It carries 500 gallons of water 1000 feet of 5 inch hose, 500 feet of 2.5 inch hose and has two 1.75 inch pre-connects, Husky Foam System. Engine 20 is located at Station 2 and responds to all rescue calls and structure fires. Engine 20 responded to 665 calls in 2006

 

Engine 30

Engine 30 is 1997 Freightliner FL70 4-door Chassis with a 325 h.p. C8.3 Cummins Turbo Diesel. It has an automatic transmission with a 1500 g.p.m. single stage pump. It carries 750 gallons of water 1000 feet of 5 inch hose, 500 feet of 2.5 inch hose and has three 1.75 inch pre-connects. Engine 10 is located at Station 1 and responds to all structure fires. Engine 30 responded to 401 calls in 2006.

 

Squad 1

Squad 1 is a 1989 Ford F-350 4X4 with a 460 c.i. fuel injected gasoline engine. It has a 4-speed manual transmission. It carries a slide in 18 h.p. Waterous pump with a 300 gallon tank. It carries a limited amount of rescue tools that includes a Hurst tool. Squad 1 is located at Station 1 and responds to all grass fires. Squad 1 also responds as a backup rescue unit. Squad 1 responded to 16 calls in 2006.

Car 1 is a 1993 Chevrolet Caprice Police Special it has a 350 c.i. Fuel Injected engine with an automatic transmission. It is located at Station 1 and it used primarily by inspection personnel. It is also used by the Chief and for transportation to out of town training.

Car 2 isn't a car at all it is a 1995 Ford F-150 Pickup, 133" wheelbase, with a 351 cubic inch, (5.8L) MFI engine with an automatic transmission. It is located at Station 1 and it used primarily by inspection personnel. It is also used as a utility vehicle during annual fire hose testing, hydrant flowing and fires.

Med 1

Med 1 is a 2001 Ford E-450 it has a 7.3 liter power stroke diesel with an automatic transmission. It is located at Station 1 and responds to all areas in Junction City and Geary County. If needed it is also used on transfers in other counties.

Med 2

Med 2 is a 2000 Ford E-406 it has a 7.3 liter powerstroke diesel with an automatic transmission. It is located at Station 1 and responds to all areas in Junction City and Geary County. If needed it is also used on transfers in other counties.

Med 3

Med 3 is a 1997 Ford E-350 it has a 7.3 liter turbo diesel with an automatic transmission. It is located at Station 1 and responds to all areas in Junction City and Geary County. If needed it is also used on transfers in other counties.

Med 4

Med 4 is a 2005 Ford E-350 it is diesel with an automatic transmission. Med 4 is a Baitric Unit equipped with a Wench and ATV ramps.  The bariatric Cot was purchased through the hospital foundation.   It is located at Station 1 and responds to all areas in Junction City and Geary County. If needed it is also used on transfers in other counties.
