Coronado
Park
This
park contains a monument to the early Spanish explorer Francisco
Vazquez de Coronado, who is believed to have explored this area
of Kansas in the mid 1500s.
This
is a picture of Coronado Park at 716 S. Washington. This park features
handicapped accessible playground equipment, Tennis Courts, a covered
shelter with picnic tables, a 1/2 basketball court and an expansive
green space. Feel free to stop by sometime.
The
Coronado Park Shelter may be reserved
for special events. Check the shelter calendar
