Junction City’s 2008 Spring Clean-Up
It’s Spring Cleaning time and we need everyone’s
help. The month of May is Junction City’s spring clean-up. This
is the time to get rid of all those items that have been sitting unused
or that you’ve been wondering about disposing of properly. Litter
attracts more litter, whether its trash that blows into your yard
or consumer waste products that are carelessly handled or improperly
disposed. A clean community, by contrast, discourages littering and
raises local living standards and quality of life.
This month, when you take a walk, carry a small trash
bag along to pick up litter along the way. If we all pitch in, Junction
City will be an even better place to call home.
