What is often taken for granted as safe can hide a hidden danger. Improper electrical wiring, leaking water or sewer gases, improperly vented heating units, can all be harmful, if not deadly. The yellow pages of your phone book is a good place to start looking for reputable Contractors that can help you get the job done. The Code Enforcement Department can tell you if they are licensed and insured to work in Junction City, and may be able to tell you if there has been any complaints about a Contractor. Bring any renovation plans into the Code Enforcement Department for review before you move that wall or take out that window.
