Customer
Service Center
The
Customer Service Center is located in the Municipal Building at
700 N. Jefferson. The Center's hours of operation are Monday through
Friday, 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. in person, and until
5 P.M. by phone. Services available at the Center include establishing
water, sewer, and sanitation services and bill payment, enrollment
in Recreation Dept. programs, payments for ambulance services, voter
registration, job applications and public notary services.
The
Reception Desk located in the lobby of the Municipal building provides
information on city services and community events, job applications,
and can direct you to the office or City staff person that can answer
your question. When you call the Municipal Building, the Receptionist
will connect you to the help you need.
In
addition, in the lobby of the Municipal Building are a bank of phones
to assist new residents with establishing utility service with Embarq
(telephone), Westar/Kansas Gas Service (electricity & gas) and
Cox Communications (cable TV). There are payment drop boxes for
after hour payment. The boxes are located in front of the Municipal
Building for Cox Communications, Water Department and Daily Union
Newspaper. Customers can also take advantages of payment drop boxes
located at Dillon’s Grocery Store at 618 W. 6th Street.
