The
Family Care Center of Junction City is an outpatient mental health
clinic which has been in Junction City area since 1985. The clinic
offers individual, marital, family and group therapy, psychiatric
and psychological evaluations, custody evaluations and adoption
home studies, drug and also alcohol evaluations, continuing care,
and divorce counseling/mediation.
The
Family Care Center of Junction City has staff available 24- hours
a day to help you deal with crisis.

The
purpose of the Family Hope Center is to minister to families &
individuals in crisis by offering support and encouragement and
to offer opportunities for growth and learning to those families
& individuals as they begin to rebuild their lives. This is
accomplished mainly through support and referral. The Hope Center
opened in 1983 as the community outreach program of 1st Presbyterian
Church.

Students
enrolled or accepted for enrollment in post high school education
institutions are eligible for financial aid under several government
programs. The aid consists of repayable loans or direct grants and
applies to colleges and universities, vocational and technical schools
and hospital schools of nursing. The programs are: Pell Grants,
Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, College Work Study,
Perkins Loan, and Stafford Loan. There are other sources of financial
aid sponsored by either the Federal government, states, localities,
businesses, organizations, individuals and associations. The best
way to get information is to contact the Financial Aid Administrator
or obtain the “Federal Student Financial Aid Fact Sheet”.

Provides
legal information and representation to eligible low income and
elderly individuals. Cannot represent persons in criminal matters
or cases which are fee producing such as insurance, workers compensation
or suits for damages. Most cases are public benefits, social security,
landlord-tenant, consumer and family law areas. Can assist other
not for profit agencies concerning legal problems of their clients.

crisis hotline that offers peer counseling, short-term crisis intervention,
information and referral services to individuals with any kind of
problems. Strictly confidential and staffed by volunteer para-professionals

Out-of-school informal education program for youth
ages 5-19. Provides growth experiences and leadership development
training through a variety of projects, activities and club formats.
Offers an opportunity for young people to make friends, participate
in community service projects and attend county and state sponsored
events such as county fair and camp. School Enrichment Programs
include: Chick Embryology, Wheat Science, The Great American Eating
Machine, Trade-Offs, Blue Skies-Adventures in Space Technology,
Hello Beautiful Person, Youth & the Law. 4-H Club formats include
Community Clubs & Project Clubs for 7-19 years old and Mini
4-H Clubs for youth 5-7 years of age. |
